Artist Josh Weston, of Plymouth, wants you to break his art work.

That’s right, and the attitude of the skilled artist and designer may sum up the vibe perfectly of the Detroit Urban Craft Fair, an event happening Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Fillmore in Detroit.

First, Weston’s artwork is designed on decks, meaning skateboards.

He creates boards at a reasonable rate of $30-$50 so that skate athletes can use the boards as they were intended.

“I want them to tear ‘em up, ride them to become better skaters,” Weston, a surfer and skater himself said.
