Now that we are on the brink of all of our favorite shows returning, I am reminded of some shows that won’t be returning. One show that died a couple of years ago that I really liked was called Love Monkey. No it’s not about porn.
It was about a a guy living in NY working for an indie record label. It was centered around all of the problems that come with being in your 20’s/30’s. Sadly the show never took off and was canned. It was based off of a book that was a best-seller.
It sucks that shows like that die even though everyone one that I asked that knew about the show liked it. But the slot it’s thrown in can kill it. This year it looks like there are going to be a ton of good looking shows. I think that the writers strike made them step up the game and not let so many bad shows make to to TV. Now we just have to wait for sweeps and see what gets canned and what can go on.
